
GLOBAL HEALTH AND HUMAN RIGHTS
The interface between Global Health and Human Rights is recent in the scope of the United Nations and incorporates the discussion between the right to health, equity in global health policies and the social determinants of health. In this context, this line of action works in the production of technical and scientific materials in the scope of research, teaching and extension, exploring this innovative dialogue. The main objective is to offer products to tackle inequalities of power and resources in the construction of greater equity in global health policies, comprising the guidelines of global health in terms of social justice, equity and solidarity. In the interaction with these two fields, activities have been developed on the following subjects: access to medicines and the health system; sexual and reproductive rights in the context of global health; social policies and sexuality in the context of HIV / AIDS, discrimination and HIV / AIDS stigma.
