BRAZILIAN HEALTH LAW

Program: Right to Health: ethical, political and social aspects. Health Law: concepts, principles, normative sources, main laws and institutions. Legal aspects of the Unified Health System (SUS). Regulatory Agencies: Supplementary Health and Health Surveillance. Health and Consumer. Justice system and the guarantee of the right to health.

This course aims to present the main elements of Law and Health Law in a critical perspective by exploring the interfaces and possibilities of application in Public Health.

INTERNATIONAL HEALTH LAW

Program: International and Regional Declarations of Human Rights and the Right to Health. International and Regional Health System. International and regional health standards (Mercosur). International organizations (WHO, PAHO, ILO, WTO) and health law. International health regulations. International health law in the field of occupational health, health and the environment, health and consumption.

This course aims to offer subsidies for the understanding and critical reflection of the process, structure, dynamics and content of international health legal norms and their implications for Collective Health.

HEALTH EDUCATION

Program: Communication and health education. Main pedagogical trends. Educational / communicative dimensions of health care. Methodology of problematization. Promotion and prevention in contexts of vulnerability.

This course aims to recognize the pedagogical and communicative dimensions of health care, identifying and constructing critical judgments in relation to the ethical and political horizons that inform the different pedagogical currents.
